Tracks all project information including status, milestone dates, scheduling, Board & communication documents, etc. Maintains contact with project/program managers and subject matter experts as needed. Performs duties in a safe, efficient manner and in compliance with all applicable rules and safety procedures.
Responsibilities And Specific Duties
High school or GED required. Bachelor’s degree or related field preferred
Years & Experience Required
Minimum six (6) years of increasingly responsible administrative experience with project coordination and project management.
Knowledge & Skills Required
Excellent writing skills, effective communication (written and verbal) skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficient knowledge of PC’s and related software, advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities And Specific Duties
- This is a temporary PSA job assignment not to exceed six (6) months in duration or $25,000 in total hourly wages during the six (6) month period.
- Responsible for serving as key contact for VP to coordinate all departmental activities both internal and external.
- Responsible for coordinating, preparing, and tracking Board documents such as presentations, and other necessary forms. Collects, reviews, updates, and submits Board related items on behalf of the group.
- Maintains continuity of projects by documenting and communicating needed action to management and project team. Maintains project due dates and follows up with changes and delays.
- Tracks project life span data and provides support to project team from beginning to final approval. Tracks the progress and quality of work based on project requirements/expectations.
- Responsible for producing weekly, monthly, and quarterly project reports.
- Researches and prepares special reports for various projects.
- Attends project and Board related meetings
- Assist VP in managing the departmental staff needs.
- Provides excellent customer service to METRO internal and external customers.
- Promotes safety awareness and follows safety procedures in an effort to reduce or eliminate accidents
- Applies SMS methods and principles in their daily routine and supports all aspects of the agency’s Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan (PTASP).

- Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Pay Range: $56,500 -$74,000
