We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong conflict management skills, a keen eye for surveillance, and the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for protecting assets, enforcing laws, and ensuring the safety of individuals on-site.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to maintain constant oversight of premises.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations quickly and taking appropriate action.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Conduct thorough inspections of facilities to identify potential security risks or breaches.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary, providing detailed reports on incidents as required.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed in emergency situations.
- Engage in loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Experience
- Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Certification of MD Guard card (active) and MD Wear and carry (active) required at hiring
- Proficiency in conflict management techniques and crisis intervention strategies.
- Familiarity with surveillance technology and loss prevention methods is advantageous.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
