Metropolitan Companies is looking for a Land Development Project Manager to join our team! The Development Project Manager is responsible for coordinating all aspects in the process from agreement of sale to full permit approvals for Multi-Family Apartment complexes and Single-Family homes. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all project management responsibilities in the approval/entitlement process from agreement of sale to full Permits/Municipal approvals. Projects will include Multi-Family Apartment developments.
- Meet with required township and government officials and inspectors throughout the approval/entitlement and permitting phases.
- Manage all third-party professionals (Engineers, Lawyers, Architects, etc.) throughout the approval and construction process.
- Manage project bidding process, proforma and budget preparation for prospective and active projects for senior management review.
- Act as a liaison between our General Contractor and the Owner/VP of Development.
- Manage and report on project status utilizing internal management/financial systems.
- Participate in networking opportunities to promote the success of Metropolitan Companies and increase the company’s network of industry professionals and land source contacts.
Competencies
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work with a team and independently.
- Must have technical proficiency and knowledge in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- HS Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor degree preferred.
- 2-3 years previous experience in project management, supervision on sites.
- Flexibility in schedule as needed in order to accommodate municipal meetings, site related travel and oversight of projects.
