What are the responsibilities and job description for the Internal Medicine - Adult & Family Practice Physician position at Metropolitan Family Health Network?
Metropolitan Family Health Network is in immediate need to employ a Full-Time Family Practice / Internal Medicine Physician to join the health center organization.
They will perform the following both on site and via laptop provided by the health center. They include:
1. Engages in clinical practice in terms of direct patient care and medical management by diagnosing and treating adults.
2. Assist in development of health care programs for special population groups such as AIDS, homeless, substance abuse, diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
3. Participates in internal chart reviews, quality assurance committee and development of pertinent clinical indicators.
4. Assists in the development of effective working relationships with affiliated hospitals and external organizations.
5. Assists in analyzing and providing long-range solutions and strategies for clinical excellence.
6. Maintains confidentiality under HIPAA regulations of all medical care and patient information to assure patient rights.
7. Other related duties and responsibilities that may become necessary to assure that the needs of the medical services to patients are met.
8. Maintains productivity levels consistent with BPHC standards.
9. Provides both hospital coverage and off hour’s coverage, as required by the center.
10. Participates in monthly provider meetings as required by Medical Director.
The Family Practice Physician will provide patient care in our West New York and Jersey City Locations.
