Position: Fleet Vehicle Manager, DOT Shuttle Operations
Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $87,000.00 per year
Job Function– Responsible for overseeing the fleet and vehicle maintenance operations for a DOT shuttle operation.
Operations Oversight
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, climb and balance. The employee is also required to use arms and hands to reach and handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Position: Fleet Vehicle Manager, DOT Shuttle Operations
Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $87,000.00 per year
Job Function– Responsible for overseeing the fleet and vehicle maintenance operations for a DOT shuttle operation.
Operations Oversight
- Work with the on-site manager to prepare repair, maintenance and cleaning schedules; assign, perform, and supervise the work product.
- Oversee daily functions of the maintenance staff employees to ensure quality and timely completion of daily, weekly, monthly and annual repari, maintenance and cleaning projects.
- Conduct daily inspects on cleaning, maintenance and repair projects to ensure that quality standards are met.
- Perform other maintenance related duties: Direct and manage routine cleaning, maintenance and repair, including power washing, slurring, restriping, sweeping and commercial painting.
- Prior progressive supervisory or management experience in a transportation environment preferred.
- Qualified candidates should be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- License Requirement: Per DOT Regulations, you will be required to have and maintain a valid CDL Class A, B or C Driver’s License depending on the location's hiring needs, with Passenger Endorsement if you will be responsible for operating shuttle buses with a passenger capacity of 15 passengers or more.
- DOT Medical Card: A Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.
- Availability to Work: Special shift requirements, if any, will vary depending on a location's hiring needs. If applicable, availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift and/or week-ends may be required.
- Prior experience ensuring employer is compliant with federal (EPA Clean Water Act of 1977) and local laws and regulations, particularly in the area of water pollution preferred.
- Qualified candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
