Caretaker
We are seeking a Caretaker to support the daily cleaning and upkeep of our property(ies). This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and works under the direction of the Community Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain common areas, hallways, laundry rooms, and grounds
- Perform routine tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash pickup
- Assist with seasonal duties including snow removal and grounds care
- Ensure service vendors complete work as scheduled
- Assist with unit turns to prepare apartments.
- Replace light bulbs and help maintain maintenance and storage areas
- Respond to emergency service calls as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Related experience preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and safe driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
