We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on Property Maintenance Technician who takes pride in quality work and great resident service. In this role, you’ll help keep our homes safe, comfortable, and well-maintained by completing a variety of repairs and preventative maintenance tasks while working with a supportive team and clear safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality maintenance and repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, painting, flooring, and general repairs
- Respond to service requests promptly and professionally, keeping residents informed along the way
- Help maintain a clean, welcoming interior and exterior appearance of buildings and grounds
- Leave every work area clean, safe, and ready for residents and teammates
- Follow safety procedures and use required safety equipment so everyone goes home safe
- Participate in training, site meetings, and special projects that help the team improve
- Share ideas on preventative maintenance and property improvements to help us raise the bar
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of related maintenance experience (or an equivalent combination of hands-on experience and education)
- HVAC experience preferred; EPA Universal certification preferred but not required
- Boiler license and/or pool certification preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must have own hand tools, valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and insurance
- Ability to travel between multiple properties
- Willingness to participate in rotating on-call evenings and weekends
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Regular lifting of 20–50 lbs; occasional lifting up to 100 lbs
- Frequent walking, bending, lifting, reaching, and standing
