Water Quality Technicians are tasked with ensuring the safety and purity of the lagoon's water. This role is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts seeking stable employment with potential for advancement. Most work will be conducted outdoors, with shifts commencing early and concluding before 4 PM.
Key Responsibilities
This position is located where temperatures and humidity can be extreme. In addition, you will be exposed to heat, cold, rain, etc. while on property.

Job Summary
Water Quality Technicians are tasked with ensuring the safety and purity of the lagoon's water. This role is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts seeking stable employment with potential for advancement. Most work will be conducted outdoors, with shifts commencing early and concluding before 4 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure guest and team member safety at all times
- Remove leaves, debris, and other foreign materials from the pool's surface authorized equipment
- Maintain equipment and chemical stock levels
- Test the pool water for pH, chlorine, and other chemical levels regularly. Adjust these levels as needed to ensure safe and balanced water conditions
- Keep records of pool maintenance activities, chemical levels, and any issues encountered
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure safe working conditions and pool usage
- Maintain the water's pH, alkalinity, and calcium hardness within the recommended ranges to prevent corrosion and scaling
- Stay informed about pool maintenance best practices, equipment, and chemical treatments through ongoing training and education
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary
- High school or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in pool cleaning, maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
- Understanding of water chemistry principles, including pH levels, chlorine, and chemical balancing, is crucial for maintaining safe and clean pool water a plus
- Must be able to swim
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Shifts may vary based on business needs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and reliable
- Ability to work in water and in all weather conditions for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
