Responsibilities
- Perform routine pool cleaning tasks including skimming, brushing, vacuuming, and debris removal to keep pools pristine.
- Conduct regular chemical testing and balancing to ensure water safety and compliance with health standards.
- Maintain and troubleshoot pool equipment such as pumps, filters, chlorinators, and heaters using hand tools and power tools.
- Repair or replace malfunctioning equipment promptly to minimize downtime and ensure optimal operation.
- Use mechanical knowledge to identify issues with pool systems and perform necessary repairs or coordinate with service technicians for complex problems.
- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities and handle chemicals responsibly to protect yourself and others.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, chemical levels, repairs performed, and inspections completed.
Experience
- Prior experience in pool maintenance or service technician roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and basic equipment repair enhances your effectiveness in this role.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety are essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and water quality.
