Schedule:
- Weekdays:
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekends:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Job Summary:
Metro Security Services is seeking reliable and professional Unarmed Security Officers to provide gate access control and guest services at a marina. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to enforce access policies, and a customer-friendly approach when assisting guests and visitors. Officers must be comfortable working a combination of evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor entrance points and verify credentials for all personnel, guests, and vehicles entering the property
- Politely stop and question anyone attempting to enter without proper authorization
- Provide directions and assist guests with general inquiries
- Conduct routine foot patrols of gates, perimeter fencing, and facility grounds
- Complete detailed daily activity reports, log entries, and incident reports
- Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies or security incidents
- Report safety hazards, suspicious activity, or maintenance concerns
- Maintain a professional appearance and strong customer service presence at all times
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Prior security experience preferred, but not required (training provided)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work assigned shifts consistently
- Ability to remain alert and stand/walk for extended periods
- Must be able to work evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed
