MSI Metro Sales Inc. is seeking an Employee-Owner, Inventory Clerk, to join our Burnsville, MN team. This onsite role will be picking, packing and shipping products, tools and supplies to internal and external clients.
Key Areas Of Responsibilities
- Daily picking, packing, shipping and receiving of customer orders, parts and tech tools and supplies.
- Ensure that items are stocked and stored in the appropriate places daily.
- Place orders for more inventory based on demand.
- Restock depleted products.
- Keep the warehouse area clean and organized.
- Answer phones.
- Handle parts counter and will call area for couriers and customers.
- Inventory clerks are responsible for keeping detailed records of inventory, perform counts for audits and other activities.
- Report discrepancies between the recorded and available number of products to supervisor.
- Analyze previous data to help the company make informed decisions.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Punctuality is critical to the success of this team.
- Exhibit excellent customer service in person and over the phone.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- HS diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Must be proficient in data entry, the windows environment and be able to utilize MS Office Applications.
- Ability to lift and maneuver a minimum of 35 pounds.
- Must be willing to work overtime to support team and company goals as needed.
- Successfully complete all assigned training and cross training in other areas of MSI.
