General Property Maintenance

Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and support the day-to-day operations of a multifamily residential community. This role is responsible for maintaining the property’s overall condition, ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs in apartments and common areas
• Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Troubleshoot and repair common household issues
• Prepare units for new residents
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment
• Maintain curb appeal by ensuring the property is clean and well-kept
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests, including after-hours when required
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications:

• Previous maintenance experience, preferably in multifamily or residential settings
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances and general carpentry
• Ability to diagnose and solve maintenance issues efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Frequent walking, bending, climbing stairs, and standing
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including snow removal
