Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the regional HR function for multiple high-volume retail locations, ensuring HR alignment with business priorities.
- Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws across sites, including auditing, documentation, and risk mitigation.
- Provide strategic and tactical guidance on employee relations, investigations, coaching, and performance management, ensuring fairness and consistency.
- Collaborate with retail operations leadership to optimize workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling for hourly associates.
- Drive the implementation of HR policies, training, and communication strategies that promote workplace safety, engagement, and performance.
- Champion total rewards programs and ensure consistent, equitable administration of compensation, benefits, and employee recognition initiatives.
- Lead engagement and retention strategies tailored to frontline retail staff; build morale, reduce turnover, and support internal career growth.
- Influence and advise senior leadership by delivering insights, reporting, and recommendations that shape business and HR strategy.
- Manage, develop, and coach a regional HR team to support ongoing operational and talent needs.
- Travel as required throughout the Northeast and Southeast regions.

- 5 years of HR leadership experience in a multi-site retail environment with a strong focus on compliance, employee relations, and frontline workforce support.
- Demonstrated ability to lead HR initiatives across decentralized operations and support field-level teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) strongly preferred.
- Strong command of employment law and HR compliance best practices.
- Proven experience developing scalable HR programs that support hourly teams and drive operational excellence.
- Exceptional communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel across the assigned region.
- Must successfully complete a comprehensive pre-employment screening process.
