Metro Emergency Upfitters LLC, a growing company providing mission-critical communication applications, has an immediate opportunity available for multiple vehicle upfitters, based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This position is responsible for installation and maintenance of Public Safety Emergency Vehicle Equipment.
General Purpose of the Position
The Sales Associate shall be responsible for the day-to-day performance of contract opportunity monitoring, contract bidding and awarding functions, contract administration, and shall provide high level support for resulting contracts. These responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to coordinating monitoring big opportunities, requests for quotations, facilitating and evaluating bids, initiating contracts for various services, negotiating contracts, and maintaining customer contact activities to provide for proper contract execution and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. The Sales Associate shall be responsible for evaluating current processes, making suggestions to update and improve system processes, and executing process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S., be able to pass a background check and be located near Oklahoma City, OK. Please note there is no relocation budget for this position.

Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and build quotes for Government and State Bids and Contracts
- Establish and update records of all correspondence related to contract activity
- Coordinate the negotiation, execution, and monitoring/compliance of all contracts
- Research product lines, prices, product sources, and other relevant purchasing information
- Comply and prepare bid documents and bidders list, including any inquiry preparations, request for bids and recommendation for award of contract.
- Form relationships with customer and suppliers to provide on-time and accurate Quotations
- Handles other duties as may be assigned
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Proven track record in the B2G environment including past contracting experience
- Proven team player with can-do attitude
- Excellent phone skills
- Flexible and able to handle multiple tasks at one time
- High school diploma or general education (GED)
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- An acceptable pre-employment background screening
- Experience with Law Enforcement, Fire/EMS, Emergency Management and/or Military
- 2 years of sales experience
- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
- Occasional lifting
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
- Ability to travel locally to meetings
