Branch Manager
The Branch Manager supports Metro’s mission to provide value to our membership by leading a team that delivers accurate, consistent, and high-quality service grounded in empathy, accountability, and results. As a visible and engaged leader, the Branch Manager promotes employee growth, ensures branch operations align with strategic priorities, and reinforces Metro’s core values. The Branch Manager ensures the branch consistently delivers meaningful member experiences, drives performance, and contributes to sustainable, value-based growth.
Essential Duties:
- Develop and support branch staff to deliver reliable, professional, and member-focused service
- Set clear expectations, provide feedback, and hold employees accountable for performance and behavior
- Oversee daily branch operations, including scheduling, cash controls, and adherence to security procedures
- Support staff with complex transactions and member interactions, stepping in as needed
- Ensure branch systems, ITMs, and facilities are functioning properly and escalate issues promptly
- Master the account and loan origination software to assist members with new account and/or loan requests.
- Promote collaboration and problem-solving across the team
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Consistently model Metro’s values and reinforce organizational expectations

Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- One to three years experience in the banking or credit union industry (required)
- Minimum of two years of management experience (required)
