The Driver- Prep Cook is responsible for driving the food truck and/or produce truck to and from service destinations and special events, working with the Mobile Chef and Store Manager to assist in the preparation and delivery of food to our patients. |
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Drive the food truck and/or produce truck to service destinations and special events.
- Work closely with the Mobile Chef to ensure all food is prepared correctly and delivered to our patrons in a timely manner. Handle and prepare food in accordance with all health, safety and hygiene codes and standards.
- Participate in cleaning of all equipment on the food truck and produce truck.
- Assist in stocking the food truck and/or produce truck for daily operations or special events.
- Assist in the Community Kitchen as needed.
- Accurately and efficiently process transactions using the POS system.
- Communicate ideas and concerns to the Mobile Chef in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Class B License required.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in food service.
- Previous food truck experience a plus.
- ServSafe Food Handler’s Certification
