What are the responsibilities and job description for the Casual Mobile Sous Chef position at METRO COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Participate in the production of food for all Metro events including on-site staff meals and food truck events.
- Follow all health, safety and hygiene codes and standards.
- Participate in the daily cleaning of all Community Kitchen equipment.
- Assist in breaking down and cleaning the food truck at the end of each shift.
- Communicate ideas and concerns to the Mobile Chef in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience
- Culinary Arts Degree
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent level
- 2 years working as a sous chef.
- ServSafe Food Handlers Certification

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to manipulate objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
