Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in retail stores or on the road to understand their needs and recommend suitable products or services
- Conduct upselling by identifying opportunities to enhance sales and increase customer satisfaction
- Manage route driving efficiently while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe driving practices
- Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, active listening, and personalized service
- Handle heavy lifting and safe merchandise handling during product setup, restocking, or transportation tasks
- Maintain organized records of sales activities, client interactions, and route schedules for optimal efficiency
- Follow merchandising standards to ensure product displays are attractive and compliant with company guidelines
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail store environments or sales roles, with a focus on customer service excellence
- Valid commercial truck driving license or experience in commercial driving preferred; must be familiar with route driving and transportation logistics
- Strong math skills for pricing calculations, discounts, and basic financial transactions
- Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial vehicle operation and safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction, negotiation, and team collaboration
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices
- Experience in automobile transportation or related fields is a plus but not required
- Organizational skills to manage multiple routes, client appointments, and inventory levels effectively
