Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to create a welcoming store environment.
- Demonstrate and explain mobile devices, accessories, and service plans through engaging product demos.
- Assist customers with retail sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring accurate cash register operations and cash handling.
- Upsell additional products, accessories, or plan upgrades to maximize sales opportunities while meeting customer needs.
- Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, merchandising products attractively, and maintaining organized displays.
- Handle retail store product knowledge confidently to answer customer questions effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring all merchandise is properly displayed and accessible.
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in telecommunications or electronics.
- Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical features clearly; bilingual abilities are highly valued.
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash register operations, retail math, and cash drawer handling is essential.
- Experience with merchandising, stock management, and retail store product knowledge is desirable.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to foster positive interactions.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and retail math calculations.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and evenings as needed.
