Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Millwork Installer role based in Orlando, FL. The Millwork Installer will measure, layout, and install custom millwork, cabinetry, trim, and molding according to project plans and specifications. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints, safely operating hand and power tools, and ensuring accurate, level, and secure installation of all components. The role involves collaborating with project managers, general contractors, and other trades on-site, resolving installation issues, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. The Millwork Installer will also inspect finished work for quality, perform adjustments and minor repairs, and follow all safety and company standards on every job.
Qualifications
- Hands-on millwork and carpentry skills, including experience installing trim, molding, doors, panels, and custom woodwork.
- Cabinetry installation experience, especially in kitchens and vanities, with the ability to ensure proper alignment, leveling, and secure mounting.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, shop drawings, and measurements, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Safe and effective use of hand tools and power tools commonly used in millwork and cabinetry installation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot fit, finish, and site conditions in real time.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team on active construction or renovation sites.
- Ability to stand, lift, bend, and move materials and equipment for extended periods; comfortable working in various on-site conditions.
- Previous experience in millwork, finish carpentry, or cabinetry installation required; trade school or apprenticeship training is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in and around Orlando, FL.
