Our client, a well-established, employee-focused multidisciplinary engineering firm, is seeking a Project Manager to lead and expand Water Resources (stormwater, drainage, watershed, H&H) work across a range of public and private sector projects. PE license required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver water-resources projects including stormwater master planning, watershed studies, drainage design, and 1D/2D H&H modeling.
- Develop scopes, fees, proposals, schedules, and budgets.
- Prepare/review technical reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with clients, agencies, contractors, and multi-disciplinary internal teams across multiple offices.
- Lead FEMA LOMR/LOMA efforts and capital improvement design projects.
- Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior staff.
- Perform field work as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field; PE required (Tennessee preferred).
- 8 years of experience in water-resources engineering.
- Strong hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, stormwater management, green infrastructure, and erosion & sediment control background.
- Experience preparing plans, specs, and cost estimates.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, GIS tools, and common H&H software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Regional project experience in the Southeast.
- Familiarity with ICPR4, HEC-RAS, XPSWMM, Autodesk SSA.
- Experience with water quality or TMDL studies.
