Senior Test Engineer (Dynamics/ Environmental) – Leading Engineering Services Provider
Role Overview:
Lead and execute vibration and environmental testing programmes within a lab environment. Support technical delivery, improve testing processes, and mentor junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct vibration and environmental testing across industries (e.g. aerospace, automotive)
- Operate and maintain test equipment (e.g. electrodynamic shakers, chambers)
- Analyse results and produce detailed technical reports
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g. MIL-STD, DO-160)
- Mentor junior team members and support lab operations
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- ~7 years’ experience in dynamics or vibration testing
- Strong knowledge of testing standards and methodologies
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment and data capture
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, technical environment
