Senior Aviation Project Manager | Cincinnati, Ohio
Metric are looking to speak with experienced aviation professionals regarding a Senior Aviation Project Manager opportunity with an established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy in Cincinnati.
This is a client-facing leadership role responsible for managing complex airport infrastructure projects from initial planning and design through construction and closeout. The position also offers the opportunity to support business development, strengthen client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of an aviation practice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage aviation projects from planning and design through construction and closeout
• Deliver projects in line with scope, schedule, budget and quality expectations
• Act as the main contact for airport clients, airlines and project stakeholders
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering, design and construction teams
• Oversee airfield, terminal, hangar, utility and landside infrastructure projects
• Ensure compliance with FAA standards and airport operational requirements
• Manage project financials, risks and construction phasing
• Support proposals, client development and new business opportunities
• Mentor junior project managers and technical staff
Required Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, aviation management or a related field
• 5 years of aviation engineering or project management experience
• Experience delivering airport or airfield infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of FAA requirements and active airport environments
Preferred Qualifications :
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• PMP or equivalent project management certification
• Experience with aviation funding programs and business development
