Senior Construction Project Manager

Kane Partners LLC
West Chester, OH Full Time
POSTED ON 9/2/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 10/1/2026

Own the project. Know the numbers. Keep the work moving.

We’re looking for a commercial construction Project Manager who can take ownership of a project from preconstruction through turnover.

This is not a coordinator role. You’ll have responsibility for the budget, schedule, subcontractors, contracts, changes, client communication, design coordination, and financial performance of your projects.

You’ll work closely with the Superintendent and field team while coordinating owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. The successful PM knows when to get into the details—and when to step back and look at the entire job.

What You’ll Own

· Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout

· Establish and maintain project budgets, schedules, milestones, and procurement plans

· Track costs, commitments, changes, forecasts, and project profitability

· Review drawings, specifications, scopes, contracts, and proposed changes

· Develop subcontractor scopes and participate in bidding and negotiations

· Coordinate architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams

· Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, and project documentation

· Monitor permitting and other requirements affecting the project

· Lead project meetings and maintain communication with owners and stakeholders

· Partner with the Superintendent on schedule, quality, safety, and field coordination

· Maintain client relationships throughout the project

· Identify problems early and work through practical solutions

· Report project status and financial performance to leadership

· Drive punch list, turnover, and final closeout

· Travel as required for assigned projects

What We’re Looking For

· 5 years of Project Management experience in commercial construction

· Experience managing projects from preconstruction through completion

· Direct responsibility for project budgets, costs, changes, and financial results

· Strong understanding of construction contracts, subcontractors, scheduling, and project controls

· Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work

· Experience coordinating multiple trades and project stakeholders

· Strong client-facing communication and negotiation skills

· Ability to make decisions, solve problems, and keep projects moving

· Strong organizational and prioritization skills

· Microsoft Office proficiency, including Excel and Word

· Experience with Procore or another major construction management platform

· Familiarity with construction scheduling and project-costing systems

· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent commercial construction experience will be considered

Commercial Construction Experience

We’re interested in PMs who have actually owned commercial construction projects—not simply supported them.

Your background could include commercial general contracting, design-build, specialty construction, healthcare, manufacturing, industrial, office, retail, institutional, or other technically involved commercial work.

The important part is that you understand how a job gets built, how the money is managed, and how to keep the owner, subcontractors, design team, and field working toward the same finish line.

Compensation & Benefits

· $100,000–$160,000 DOE

· Full-time position

· Benefits package 100% paid for you and dependents

· Three weeks PTO

· Career growth with an established construction organization

Permanent U.S. work authorization is required. No sponsorship, H-1B, OPT, CPT, or C2C.
