Project Manager – Water & Wastewater Construction
Location: Westminster, CO
About the Role
Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead water and wastewater infrastructure projects in Westminster, Colorado. This role involves managing all aspects of project delivery - from preconstruction through closeout—ensuring quality, safety, and profitability while maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of water and wastewater treatment plant and pipeline projects.
- Manage budgets, cost controls, and financial reporting to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain clear communication and resolve issues promptly.
- Review and approve RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and contract specifications.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10 years in water/wastewater construction project management.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong knowledge of treatment plant processes, pipelines, and underground utilities.
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Experience with design-build delivery methods.
- Familiarity with municipal and federal water/wastewater projects.
- OSHA 30 certification.
