Land Development Project Manager – Sugar Land, TX
Overview:
A fast growing real estate development company is seeking a Land Development Project Manager to lead residential and commercial projects from planning through construction. This role is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with strong technical expertise and project management experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning, design, and execution of land development projects
- Manage consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
- Oversee permitting, utility design, grading, and drainage plans
- Review and approve civil engineering plans and documentation
- Communicate project goals, progress, and risks to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal development regulations
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in land development or civil engineering
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Strong knowledge of permitting, municipal requirements, and design standards
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred:
- 8 years of experience managing multiple projects
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or similar civil engineering software
