Senior Project Manager – Transmission & Distribution (Data Center Projects)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex utility infrastructure projects, with a focus on supporting large-scale data center developments across the Western U.S. This is a travel-intensive role (75% ).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership and ownership of project outcomes across multiple or highly complex projects
- Manage full project lifecycle including preconstruction, procurement, execution, and closeout
- Lead project safety initiatives, promoting a strong, incident-free culture across all teams
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and cost control to ensure profitability and performance
- Manage subcontractor procurement, scope alignment, and contract execution
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, engineers, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery
- Lead project meetings, reporting, and stakeholder communication at all levels
- Identify risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle
- Support and contribute to preconstruction efforts including estimating, bid development, and planning
Additional Responsibilities:
- Drive execution of large-scale T&D and substation-related infrastructure projects
- Lead and mentor project teams while ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Negotiate change orders, manage financial performance, and support overall business planning
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and support business development efforts
Requirements:
- 7–10 years of project management experience within high-voltage transmission & distribution or utility construction
- Strong background in managing complex infrastructure or EPC-style projects
- Proven experience in budgeting, scheduling, and delivering projects profitably
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office (Excel preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred)
Salary : $160,000 - $200,000
