We’re looking for a Bridge Project Engineer with a PE license to support the design, analysis, inspection, and load rating of bridge and transportation structures. This role suits a Civil or Structural Engineer with strong technical experience who enjoys working on public infrastructure projects from design through construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead bridge design, structural analysis, load ratings, and foundation design
- Prepare plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates
- Ensure compliance with state DOT standards and safety codes
- Perform field inspections and support construction activities (RFIs, site visits)
- Coordinate with project managers and mentor junior engineers
Requirements
- BS in Civil Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 10 years of bridge/transportation experience
- PE license
- Experience with MicroStation, STAAD, or similar bridge design tools
- Familiarity with DOT standards (NYSDOT, PennDOT, or similar)
