Role Overview
Looking for a hands on electrical estimator with practical field experience. In this role, you’ll prepare detailed estimates for mission critical electrical projects ranging from roughly $200K to $10M. You’ll work closely with project teams, taking projects from early drawings all the way through final subcontractor quotes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed electrical takeoffs, including panels, generators, equipment, wire, conduit, and materials
- Independently read and interpret electrical drawings
- Secure quotes from subcontractors and integrate pricing into estimates
- Support the transition of existing Excel based estimating tools
- Partner with project managers and leadership to improve and standardize estimating processes
