Position Summary
Metrea Advanced Signals is seeking a Facility Security Officer (FSO) who is responsible for establishment, oversight, management and direction of Industrial Security. This individual is ultimately responsible for compliance in accordance with the NISPOM.
The FSO will have oversight of the security program of Metrea Advanced Signals and one additional business unit.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with department and business needs. Exempt Employees must have the ability to be on-call and available, as business needs require. Non-Exempt employees may be required to work over 40 hours per week with approval from the department manager.

Role And Responsibilities
- Effectively and accurately process personnel security clearances
- Conduct Initial & Annual Refresher trainings
- Account manager in NISS, DISS, SWFT, etc
- Advise management of security violations and security requirements to remain in compliance with the NISPOM 32 CFR Part 117
- Conduct annual Self-Inspections and administer security vulnerability assessments (SVAs)
- Perform as a COMSEC custodian
- Create, update, and enforce security policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with our government contracts
- Initiate, review, and monitor clearance investigations
- Maintain FSO certifications and access to government portals
- Review contract DD 254s for accuracy and maintain as required
- Maintain and store security files
- Manage access control systems and Alarm Systems
- Perform as a Media Custodian
- Ensure emergency equipment is inspected annually and functional
- Communicate with the Facility Property Manager to ensure building utilities are functional
- Education: Bachelor degree preferred
- Experience: 2-3 years as a Facility Security Officer or equivalent

Salary : $85,000 - $115,000
