A well-established European hedge fund with a strong performance track record is seeking an experienced asset-raising professional to support the next phase of its growth. The firm employs a disciplined, research-driven investment approach and is looking to expand and diversify its global investor base.
The Role
The successful candidate will play a central role in the firm’s capital development efforts. Working closely with senior management and the investment team, the individual will be responsible for originating and managing investor relationships, leading fundraising initiatives, and contributing strategically to long-term capital growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies across the US.
- Originate, build, and manage relationships with institutional investors, family offices, private banks, and other capital allocators
- Lead investor meetings, roadshows, and due diligence processes
- Maintain and expand existing investor relationships through regular communication and reporting
- Work closely with portfolio managers and senior leadership on fund positioning, messaging, and product launches
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of marketing materials, presentations, and investor communications
- Monitor market developments, investor sentiment, and competitive dynamics to inform fundraising strategy
Candidate Profile
- 7–15 years of experience in asset raising, capital introduction, or institutional sales within hedge funds or alternative investments
- Proven track record of successfully raising capital for hedge fund strategies
- Established network of institutional investors and sophisticated allocators
- Strong understanding of hedge fund structures, strategies, and investor requirements
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills
- Entrepreneurial and self-directed, with the ability to operate independently
- Fluency in English required; additional European languages are an advantage
