A leading global asset manager is seeking a Product Strategy Analyst / Associate to join its Product Strategy team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious investment professional to gain broad exposure across the business, supporting the development and evolution of the firm's investment product offering.
Working closely with senior members of the Product Strategy team, investment professionals, distribution, marketing, and operations, the successful candidate will help analyse market trends, assess product opportunities, and support the delivery of strategic initiatives across a diverse range of investment strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of the firm's product strategy across a broad range of investment solutions.
- Conduct market, competitor, and industry research to identify product opportunities and emerging investment trends.
- Analyse product performance, flows, and client demand to help inform strategic decision-making.
- Assist in the development of business cases for new product launches and enhancements to existing strategies.
- Coordinate with investment, sales, marketing, legal, compliance, and operations teams to support product development initiatives.
- Prepare presentations, market analysis, and management information for senior stakeholders and governance committees.
- Monitor regulatory and industry developments impacting the investment product landscape.
- Contribute to strategic projects focused on product positioning, client segmentation, and platform optimisation.
Requirements
- 1–5 years of experience within product strategy, product development, investment strategy, product management, consulting, or a related function within asset management or financial services.
- Strong understanding of investment products across public and/or private markets.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with strong attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience using data and market research to support strategic recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
- Bachelor's degree required; progress towards the CFA or CAIA qualification would be advantageous.
