Overview
A leading global investment firm is looking to hire a highly analytical and detail-focused individual to join its Portfolio Management & Implementation team. The team is responsible for managing active equity and multi-asset strategies, working alongside a broader alternatives platform, and utilising advanced research, data, and technology to deliver investment solutions to institutional clients globally.

Key Responsibilities
- Works closely with quantitative research teams to support daily portfolio management and investment operations
- Executes and oversees portfolio implementation, ensuring alignment with client mandates and internal guidelines
- Contributes to bespoke and ad hoc analysis, including assessing the impact of changes to portfolio construction and optimisation techniques
- Addresses a range of analytical challenges related to trading and implementation, from routine queries to more complex problem-solving
- Enhances and streamlines existing portfolio management processes through automation and system improvements
- Assists with the rollout of new investment strategies, funds, and separately managed accounts
- Partners with teams across trading, technology, portfolio strategy, operations, and other key functions such as legal and compliance
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree required; postgraduate qualifications are advantageous
- Approximately 1–4 years of relevant experience within asset management, hedge funds, or a similar environment
- Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Effective written communication skills
- Proficiency in Python, including experience developing and troubleshooting analytical tools or models
- Interest in, or experience with, applying emerging technologies such as generative AI
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Demonstrated curiosity and a proactive approach to learning
