About the Client
Our client is an established and fast-growing Venture Capital Fund investing across pre-seed to pre-IPO stages in innovative, high-growth businesses. With an impressive track record and an expanding portfolio across multiple sectors, they are now seeking a Capital Raising / Asset Raising Executive to strengthen their investor base and lead on fund-raising initiatives.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, well-connected capital raiser to join a high-performing investment team and play a pivotal role in the firm’s next phase of growth.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for raising assets across multiple venture strategies, with a focus on sourcing, engaging, and securing commitments from institutional investors, family offices, and HNWIs. The role will suit someone who has a proven track record of raising capital for venture, private equity, or alternative investment vehicles, ideally with experience spanning pre-seed through to IPO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute fundraising initiatives for new and existing funds.
- Develop and manage relationships with institutional investors, family offices, and private wealth channels.
- Collaborate closely with senior partners and investment teams to articulate fund strategy, performance, and value proposition.
- Prepare investor materials, presentations, and due diligence documentation.
- Represent the fund at investor meetings, conferences, and roadshows.
- Maintain accurate records of investor interactions and fundraising progress.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in capital raising, investor relations, or business development within venture capital, private equity, or investment banking.
- Demonstrable success raising capital from LPs, family offices, or institutional investors.
- Strong existing investor network and the credibility to open new channels.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and commercially astute.
- Comfortable operating autonomously within a lean, fast-paced environment.
