Overview
Help us keep our volunteers, staff members, and customers safe this winter in our snow shoveling role! In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and accessible environments during snowy conditions. This is an as needed position -- when it snows this winter, we need your help!
Responsibilities
- "As needed" availability when it snows. Sometimes multiple visits a day to ensure snow is cleared in a timely manner.
- Operate snow shovel to clear sidewalk, back parking lot, and walkways efficiently and safely.
- Collaborate with thrift shop manager to plan and execute snow removal strategies effectively.
Requirements
- Proven knowledge with experience in operating snow shovel/snow blower.
- Snow blower and personal equipment preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with supervisor.
