Snow Shoveler

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Snow Shoveler to assist with snow removal and related outdoor maintenance tasks. This role is essential for ensuring safe and accessible pathways during winter months. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and familiarity with various tools and outdoor maintenance practices.

Duties

• Clear snow from walkways, driveways, parking lots, and other designated areas using shovels, snow blowers, or other equipment
• Apply salt or de-icing materials to prevent ice formation and ensure safety
• Assist with landscaping tasks such as lawn care, mowing, tree trimming, and gardening during off-season periods
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery like excavators for landscape maintenance and construction projects
• Perform routine maintenance on outdoor equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning
• Support landscape projects including hardscape installation, irrigation setup, and general land improvement tasks
• Follow safety protocols related to snow removal and outdoor work environments

Experience

• Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or snow plowing is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and small machinery such as excavators is a plus
• Experience in horticulture or gardening can be beneficial for seasonal landscape tasks
• Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor work for extended periods and lift heavy loads as needed

Pay: $ $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 60.0 per week
