What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Life Enrichment position at METHODIST RETIREMENT COMMUNITIES?

What You’ll Do:
- Design and oversee a robust calendar of events, activities, and wellness programs that reflect resident interests and encourage social, spiritual, and intellectual engagement.
- Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of activity professionals and volunteers to deliver memorable experiences.
- Partner with residents, families, and staff to ensure programming is personalized and inclusive.
- Coordinate special events, outings, and intergenerational programs that connect residents with the broader Fort Worth community.
- Manage the department budget, schedules, and compliance with state/federal guidelines.
What We’re Looking For:
- A creative leader with a passion for senior living and hospitality.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to balance big-picture vision with daily details.
- Experience in event planning, recreation, or wellness programming (preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting).
- A team player with a heart for service and the ability to motivate others.
- Bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Gerontology, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
