We are seeking a LVN Nurse Manager for Assisted Living. The Nurse Manager assists the Assisted Living Director in administering, directing and coordinating all activities of nursing services to ensure meeting the nursing needs of the residents.
Schedule/Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Weekends will be on-call.
Responsibilities include:
- Make daily rounds to all nursing units, ensuring that all staff are present, supplies are stocked and readily available and the unit is running smoothly.
- Visit and follow-up with families and elders reviewing clinical records, documenting and communicating as appropriate, being proactive with family communications.
- Assure accurate and complete nursing documentation by regularly reviewing documentation in the EMR; following up with staff to complete documentation and provide education as needed.
- Assist in maintaining the department in full compliance with Federal, State and local regulations.
- Perform other duties as needed.

- Graduation from an accredited vocational school of nursing
- A current Texas LVN license
- At least three years of general nursing experience, including supervision and geriatric nursing
