Patient Financial Clearance Representative - PRN (546)

Completes all activities for patient referrals related to insurance verification and securing authorization for their inpatient rehabilitation admission.  Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, payors, case managers, nurse liaison, providers, and referral sources to ensure timely, efficient service for our patients.

Shift

• PRN - As Needed

• High school diploma or GED required, some college preferred
• Patient access (scheduling, registration, and financial clearance), insurance verification, or billing experience preferred
• Knowledge of MS Medicaid application and approval process preferred
• Computer knowledge, good written and verbal communication skills, and good prioritization and organizational techniques
