Family Services Specialist – Wayne County Multipurpose Home
Location: Goldsboro, NC

At Methodist Home for Children, we provide safe, nurturing homes and services for kids in crisis. Our Multipurpose Homes serve youth who are repeat juvenile offenders, helping them break negative cycles, build new skills, and reunite with family.
The Role
As a Family Services Specialist, you’ll work with youth and their families during and after their stay. You’ll engage parents in treatment, guide reunification, and support each child’s successful return home and to the community.
What You’ll Do
Manage a caseload of youth and families
Actively involve families in care
Support reunification and community reintegration
Provide post-discharge guidance and resources
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree 2 years’ experience with families
At least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license
Compassion, resilience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
