Job Description: A Quality Engineer provides statistical information for quality improvement by identifying testing methods and samples.
Position Description/General responsibilities include:
- Assist with maintenance of the Quality System.
- Assist Quality Manager and Supervisor in establishing, implementing, and maintaining the quality management system.
- Interface with Engineering and Ops to ensure transfer to Production of new products is in accordance with approved data.
- Support the Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.
- Analyze failure, corrective and preventive action to respond to internal/external customer complaints.
- Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc.
- Continuously improving QA receiving inspection process and procedures.
- Ensure timely resolution of supplier failure, corrective actions and preventive actions.
- Preparation of QA weekly, monthly, quarterly reports.
- Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen lean methods, etc.
- Develop training to build quality awareness.
- Conduct audits, including closing out audit findings and creating audits finding reports, and determining proper corrective and preventive actions.
- Responsible for planning, organizing and managing the overall activities of receiving/outgoing quality functions.
- Manage suppliers performance and conduct audits.
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
- ISO Auditor
- Mid-Level Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Computer knowledge, functionality, technical interaction of sub-assemblies
- English as either primary or secondary language
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Working Conditions: Able to tolerate noise levels in warehouse environment. Office and outside environmental conditions found in warehouse, hot in summer, cold in winter. May need to walk for extensive period of time while working and walking facilities; able to reach over shoulder heights; bend or stoop below waist; repetitive wrist, hand, finger movement; occasional lifting up to 30 pounds.
