POSITION SUMMARY

The Packaging Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining machinery and product quality in a production environment. This position ensures that all packaging processes are executed efficiently and safely while maintaining the highest quality standards. You will work with the machine operator to load bags into bagging and labeling machines, running equipment with oversight to ensure a smooth production schedule.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Machine Operation: Operate and monitor machinery to ensure proper functioning and output quality.
• Loading & Labeling: Package and label bags using machinery and maintain efficient schedules.
• Maintenance: Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machines to minimize downtime.
• Compliance: Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure product safety and state regulation compliance.
• Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensing: Must be currently licensed to work with cannabis in the state of Oklahoma.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand for extended periods and frequently lift and/or move more than 50 pounds must be able to climb stairs frequently to load machines.
