What are the responsibilities and job description for the Long Term Substitute -School Psychologist position at Metcalf Elementary?
Long Term Substitute needed for the remainder of the 25/26 school year- Available for full time or part time hours.
Provide counseling and evidence-based related services/interventions for identified students and/or as documented on IEPs. Actively support school-wide, preventative and proactive strategies to address social-emotional competencies/social-emotional health. Facilitate support groups based on student needs. Serve as an integral member of the school's MTSS team. Actively locate community resources to assist students and families in need. Consult with teachers and other staff to address behavioral and social-emotional needs of students. Document specialized and related services for identified students through the IEP process. Collect and analyze data for academic and/or behavioral needs. Conduct evaluations, as appropriate, to include Functional Behavior Analyses, Social Histories and/or Psychological Assessments.
