Job Title: Geospatial Data & Platform Engineer (W2 Only)

Job Location: Westminster, CO (100% Remote)

Job Duration: 2 Months


Job Summary:

Core Responsibilities

  • Build and scale Snowflake-based data pipelines supporting Capacity Economics (pricing, ordering, production linkage).
  • Design canonical data models and integrate fragmented systems (SFDC, platform, offline sources).
  • Optimize and productionize spatial workflows to reduce repeated heavy compute and enable standardized outputs.
  • Standardize and automate large-scale data pipelines in cloud data platforms.


Technical Expertise

  • Snowflake, Fivetran (Postgres ingestion), and Python for data processing & automation.
  • Geospatial processing skills: spatial joins, intersects, overlays, clipping, buffering, reprojection, and area calculations.
  • SQL (Snowflake preferred) and/or Python (GeoPandas, Shapely) for geospatial data handling.


Bonus Skills

  • Experience with Starburst.
  • Knowledge of spatial data sourcing strategies.
  • Ability to replace legacy GIS pipelines.
