Position Overview:
As an SCCM & Intune Architect, you will be responsible for designing and architecting the enterprise solutions for endpoint management using (System Center Configuration Manager) SCCM and Intune. This role requires a strategic approach to system design and the ability to lead the implementation of solutions that manage both desktop and mobile devices across the organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment, management, and security of endpoints, with a focus on scalability, security, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architecture Design: Design and architect SCCM and Intune solutions for enterprise environments, ensuring alignment with business goals and IT infrastructure.
- Solution Implementation: Lead the deployment, configuration, and management of SCCM for Windows-based systems and Intune for mobile device management, ensuring a seamless integration between both platforms.
- End-to-End Device Management: Oversee the management and security of both desktop and mobile devices, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Automation and Optimization: Implement automation strategies for device provisioning, software distribution, patch management, and security updates to streamline operations.
- Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with IT, security, and operations teams to ensure that endpoint management solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution for complex issues related to SCCM, Intune, and overall endpoint management.
- Documentation and Reporting: Ensure thorough documentation of architecture designs, configuration settings, and deployment procedures to maintain consistency across the enterprise environment.
- Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and IT staff, fostering a knowledge-sharing environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8 years of IT experience, with a strong focus on SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) and Intune.
- Proven experience in architecting endpoint management solutions, including the design and implementation of SCCM and Intune in large-scale enterprise environments.
- In-depth knowledge of device management, patching, software deployment, and mobile device management (MDM) using Intune.
- Strong expertise in system architecture, with the ability to create scalable, secure, and efficient solutions for endpoint management.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to SCCM, Intune, and endpoint management platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Must be open to working onsite in Erlanger, KY.
