At Metal Supermarkets, the world's largest supplier of small-quantity metals, we are looking for an experienced Inside Sales Representative, Sales Consultant or Account Executive. We provide retail and wholesale raw metal products throughout eastern Louisiana. Most of our sales are made on the first call and within 3-6 minutes. This is a fast paced, customer centered sales cycle. The leads come to you - simply help them with their problem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with their metal needs, providing solutions and exceptional service.
- Managing a pipeline of high-intent inbound leads with a "speed-to-lead" mindset (responding within minutes, not hours).
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Follow our process and systems to succeed.
- Learn our inventory and product lines to help clients find their ideal metal solution.
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and improve customer satisfaction.

Your Qualifications:

- Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior sales (not cashier) experience and training.
- You have a proven track record (2 years) in B2B sales or services, specifically at the "Decision" stage of the funnel.
- You understand that hot leads have a shelf life. You are organized, tech-savvy (CRM mastery is a must), and driven by hitting daily targets.
- Execution of sales math and attention to detail.
