Metal Products, Inc. is a full service, custom machine shop. We pride ourselves in our ability to provide service and quality that exceeds our customer's expectations. As an Entry Level Welder / Material Handler you will working on entry welding and fabrication projects and also be responsible for safely moving and locating product throughout the production process.
Education/Experience:
- Welding experience or interest in learning a welding career.
- Experience operating a forklift preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize work flow
- Flexibility in approach and willingness to adapt when necessary
- Proactive and action-orientated
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team
Job Responsibilities:

1. Operate equipment necessary to move materials throughout the business.
2. Accurately store and locate products in the proper location.
3. Maintain organization and cleanliness throughout the warehouse and buildings.
4. Perform necessary safety inspections.
5. Ability to load/unload trucks.
6. Ability to identify materials necessary for production orders.
7. Interpret and follow job specifications.
8. Ability to work independently as well as in a team atmosphere with minimal supervision.
9. Abide by established safety rules and work in a safe manner.
10. Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping practices.
11. Create and maintain professional/respectful relationships with others. Be able to communicate effectively.
