We are seeking motivated individuals to join our manufacturing team in various capacities, including Assembly, Metal Finishing, Machine Operation, Material Handling, and Carpentry. As a Production Team Member, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality fabrication of metal and wood products while maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.

Assembler

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to perform repetitive assembly tasks for metal products. This role ensures that all electric and gas equipment models are built and tested to meet strict engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Precision Assembly: Place parts in the correct sequence and secure them using bolting, clipping, screwing, or cementing techniques.

  • Operational Testing: Perform functional tests on electric and gas equipment to ensure safety and performance standards are met.

  • Collaboration: Work professionally with departmental team members to meet production quotas and solve assembly challenges.

  • Specification Adherence: Interpret product manuals and specifications to ensure 100% accuracy in the final build.

Metal Finisher

Job Summary: The Metal Finisher is responsible for ensuring metal products meet aesthetic and structural surface standards. You will use specialized hand and power tools to remove defects and prepare products for final delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defect Removal: Utilize belt grinders, carbide burrs, and cartridge rolls to remove dents, scratches, and burrs from metal surfaces.

  • Surface Polishing: Use grinders to smooth rough welds and polish corners for a high-quality finish.

  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read blueprints to determine the specific type of grinding and finishing required.

  • Quality Finishing: Apply caulk and other sealants to meet company quality standards.

  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety procedures, including the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Machine Operator

Job Summary: The Machine Operator sets up and operates fabrication equipment to produce high-quality metal components. This role requires technical skill in reading engineering plans and working with stainless steel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Machine Operation: Set up and operate cutoff saws, shears, and presses to fabricate metal products.

  • Technical Layout: Read and interpret blueprints and engineering plans to accurately lay out, cut, fit, and weld stainless steel components.

  • Quality Assurance: Inspect sheet metal for imperfections and make necessary corrections to ensure the quality of the finished product.

  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure machines are operating correctly and report any maintenance needs to the supervisor.

Material Handler 

Job Summary: The Material Handler manages the physical and digital flow of inventory. This role is essential for departmental efficiency, ensuring that production teams have the specific parts required to fulfill orders on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Departmental Support: Pull specific parts and materials for various departments based on internal order needs and production schedules.

  • Inventory Management: Receive, store, and distribute products while maintaining accurate records of all transactions.

  • Logistics & Transport: Transport and load materials manually or with equipment like hand trucks, skids, and pallet jacks.

  • Shipping & Receiving: Conduct quality and accuracy checks on incoming and outgoing shipments and verify all corresponding documentation.

  • Warehouse Maintenance: Perform regular cycle counts and ensure all products are labeled and stored correctly.

Carpenter

Job Summary: The Carpenter builds custom items such as cabinets and shelving from plywood, wood, and wallboard. This role requires a high degree of craftsmanship and the ability to work from custom customer blueprints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Custom Construction: Follow customer blueprints to build orders, ensuring the selection of correct materials (plywood, wood, etc.).

  • Measurement & Assembly: Accurately measure and cut materials, assembling all parts using specialized tools and adhesives.

  • Quality Inspections: Perform rigorous quality checks to ensure final products meet customer and blueprint specifications.

  • Project Management: Complete projects within tight timelines to ensure on-time shipment while maintaining an organized workspace.

Required Skills:

  • Blueprint Interpretation

  • Precision Measurement (Calipers/Tape Measures)

  • Cabinetry & Shelving Construction

  • Professional Grade Adhesives/Tools


SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Technical Literacy: Able to read and understand documents such as blueprints, safety rules, written instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Mathematical Precision: Proficient in basic math and able to take precise measurements using tools like tape measures or calipers.

  • Physical Capability: Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching.

  • Tool Proficiency: Proficient in using various hand tools and power equipment common in a manufacturing environment.

  • Quality & Integrity: Possesses strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure the quality and integrity of the finished product.

  • Teamwork & Safety: Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a group; understands and complies with safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe workspace.


EDUCATION & TRAINING 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1year related experience in production, manufacturing, warehouse, retail

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel. Employee frequently is required to stand and reach with hands and arms. Employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision. Also while performing this job you will be exposed regularly to fumes and airborne particles and occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level is usually moderate to loud.
