Duties
- Operate various machinery and equipment used in food processing and packaging with precision and care
- Follow all USDA regulations, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) standards to ensure food safety and quality
- Assist in sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and compliant food production environment
- Measure ingredients or components accurately using basic math skills to support consistent product quality
- Pack finished products efficiently while ensuring proper labeling and packaging standards are met
- Conduct routine quality checks and report any deviations or issues immediately to supervisors
- Support the maintenance of a safe work environment by following safety protocols and participating in sanitation efforts
Requirements
- Prior experience in food production, manufacturing, or food processing plant preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Mechanical knowledge or experience operating food processing equipment is a plus
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements and quality checks
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during shifts in a busy food industry setting
