What are the responsibilities and job description for the Metal Finisher/Deburr Technician position at Metal Finishing Systems, Inc?
Metal Finishing Systems, Inc. is hiring a full-time Metal Finisher/Deburr Technician for our sheet metal fabrication shop located in Exton, PA.
This is a hands-on shop floor position. The work is physical, repetitive and detail oriented. The ideal candidate will be a reliable individual who will be able to work safely and efficiently and takes pride in their work.
Duties include but are not limited to responsibility for sanding, grinding, deburring, cleaning and finishing fabricated sheet metal parts as indicated below:
Deburr, Sand, Grind and clean fabricated sheet metal parts.
Remove burrs, sharp edges, slag, scratches and surface imperfections.
Use hand tools, grinders, sanders, files, Scotch-Brite wheels and other finishing tools.
Inspect parts visually and by touch to confirm finish quality.
Keep parts organized by job, traveler or work order.
Follow all shop safety procedures and wear required PPE
Maintain a clean, organized work area.
Assist with general shop tasks as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
